Position In Brief:
Westland Real Estate Group, a dynamic and growing real estate company, is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of handling a wide range of litigation matters from inception to resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your litigation expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the company's continued success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of litigation matters, including:

Case assessment and strategy development
Drafting and responding to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
Conducting legal research and analysis
Negotiating settlements
Representing the company in court hearings and trials (if necessary)
Provide legal counsel and guidance to internal stakeholders on a variety of litigation-related issues
Collaborate with outside counsel as needed
Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends

REQUIREMENTS:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of the California State Bar
10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in-house or at a reputable law firm
Strong knowledge of real estate law and related areas
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
